Kimberly Hanson PT, DPT, CCI, BRM
Dr. Hanson earned her Bachelor’s in exercise science from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 2005 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from George Washington University in 2009. She has advanced training in functional manual therapy through the Institute of Physical Art as well as visceral and neural manipulation through the Barral Institute. She is certified in Functional Dry Needling as well as the Barbell Rehab Method.
Dr. Hanson founded Hanson Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in 2020 having previously worked as the Clinic Director at Under Armour Global HeadQuarters in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Hanson is committed to lifelong learning and evolving her practice to continually provide the highest quality of care with innovative techniques and methods. She has experience working with athletes of all levels, from the weekend warrior to the collegiate and professional athlete.
Bethany Middleton, PTA, BRM, Girls Gone Strong CPPC
Bethany graduated from the PTA program at Anne Arundel Community College in 2009. She has training in advanced exercise and functional manual therapy techniques. She is certified in the Barbell Rehab Method as well as a Girls Gone Strong Certified Prenatal & Postpartum Coach.
Bethany understands the importance of having an active lifestyle and is committed to lifelong learning. She has worked in a variety of outpatient settings with athletes of all ages, including high school, collegiate, professional, and weekend warriors. Bethany is always looking to expand her knowlege base to continually provide quality care for all of the individuals that she treats.


Sean Jones PT, DPT
Sean earned his Bachelor’s in Health and Physical Education from University of Delaware in 2003 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2012. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Dr. Jones owned his own personal training business and had been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2006. He has advanced training in Active Release Technique™, PRI (Postural Restoration Institute), and DNS (Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization). He also has certifications in Functional Dry Needling from Kinetacore along with TPI Level 1 Certification (Titleist Performance Institute). Dr. Jones works with patients from all backgrounds and ages, but has advanced education in the use of video analysis to review the biomechanics of runners and rotational athletes. He also has special interest and training in spine and hip pathology. Outside the clinic Dr. Jones can be found golfing with his family, hiking or kayaking outdoors, or coaching on the sidelines.
